Sybersolve Corporate Services
For 15 years Sybersolve has assisted IT professionals
from Australia, New Zealand & South Africa to establish
consulting practices in the UK. Following our link up with
workpermit.com in April 2000, we have extended our range of
services to cater to overseas corporations entering new
jurisdictions.
Through a variety of options Sybersolve offers you the
opportunity to focus on your core business while we take
care of the back office and bureaucratic compliance
functions.
While we offer a range of options tailored to your
specific needs, most clients find their solution in our two
main corporate service offerings
- The Sybersolve Managed Company (SMC)
- The Sybersolve Rented Infrastructure (SRI)
Sybersolve Managed Company (SMC)
If you have a strategic commitment to establishing yourself in a new jurisdiction, then the SMC option gives you a presence with the minimum of effort. As an IT services company, using SMC, you can focus on your core competencies of making sales to clients and finding the skilled staff needed to deliver the services you have sold.
When you use SMC, Sybersolve will:
- Manage and control the accounting functions of your company, including:
- Invoicing clients
- Preparing and administering a payroll, including payments to employees, and the tax authorities
- Ensuring compliance with various corporate tax returns and regulations
- Preparing VAT returns and making appropriate payments
- Preparing quarterly management accounts
- Preparing annual accounts
- Credit control
- Cash Management
- Advise on the relative advantages & disadvantages of using a branch versus a subsidiary in a particular jurisdiction
- Assist with incorporation or registration of your local subsidiary or branch
- Provide registered office facilities
- Provide company secretarial services
- Assist in management of the local HR functions, including:
- Arranging suitable contracts of employment
- Managing compliance with local regulations relating to sick pay, holiday pay, etc
- Assisting staff to get settled
- Assist staff with opening a local bank account
- Provide telephone answering and mail/fax forwarding facilities
- Provide office facilities with telephone and PC for your use when visiting the jurisdiction
- Liase with workpermit.com as required to obtain the necessary visas/permits when sending overseas staff to the jurisdiction
The SMC service can be structured to allow you the opportunity of maintaining total control of your local corporate funds. Systems can be configured so that outgoing payments are ‘set up’ by us but require your on-line ‘sign off’ before leaving your account.
Sybersolve Rented Infrastructure (SRI)
The SRI solution allows you to deliver services in jurisdictions where you do not have a presence. With SRI you simply use Sybersolve as your local representative. Sybersolve will handle all matters concerned with the delivery of services by your staff in your chosen jurisdiction, including
- ‘Sponsoring’ any necessary visas / work permits
- Liasing with workpermit.com to apply for visas / work permits as needed
- Being the local ‘employer of record’
- Handling candidate remuneration
- Ensuring compliance with local tax, employment, and immigration laws
- Local invoicing of your clients for services provided
- Accounting to the authorities for local VAT/Sales taxes as required
- Credit control
The SRI option is generally appropriate
- A) Where you have a multi jurisdictional client who wishes you to deliver services in a country where you have no immediate plans to establish a local presence
- B) As an interim option allowing you quick access to those markets where it can take a long time to through the bureaucracy of opening your own local office. This is not usually a relevant in the UK, Ireland, or USA, but in many EU countries it can take 3-6 months for a foreign corporation to complete the processes necessary to start business.
- C) As a way of ‘testing the business climate’ in a new jurisdiction prior to making a strategic decision to establish your own presence there.
